In just two years, seven million households have acquired dishes. State-run terrestrial TV has suffered as a result. Critics fear a potential Western onslaught on Indian values. Recent newspaper launches include the "Asian Age," which is simultaneously published in London by satellite and claims to be India's first truly international paper.
